Help support Making Music That Matters with a contribution to New Wave Singers’ 40th Anniversary Chorus Champions campaign!
We have BIG PLANS for our 40th Anniversary year! Our chorus leadership has been engaging in strategic planning for the organization’s growth, we are planning an expanded Showcase concert in Spring 2026 as an anniversary celebration. And in June, we are thrilled to be presenting a new, 10-movement cantata, commissioned by several GALA Choruses, about the life and work of Baltimore-born, non-cisgender, civil rights leader, Rev. Pauli Murray, entitled, Sincerely Yours, Pauli Murray.
We would not be able to do this work without the support of our donors, and we are so very grateful!

Help New Wave Singers travel to Minneapolis in Summer 2028 to participate with 150+ other LGBTQ+ choruses in the GALA Festival, through song and and learning how to better use the liberating power of music to create harmony and equity for all. It can be an expensive trip, and New Wave is committed to helping all of our singers who want to go, to be able to go. Your donation helps to defray travel and lodging costs for our singers who need that additional financial help.
Funds raised in this campaign will be specifically earmarked for GALA 2028.
